Where: The final- Wrocław. We divided this year’s edition, as the previous ones, into two parts: the proper one (movies and art) and the accompanying (music and entertainment). The whole edition took place in the hall of Teatr Nowy. This place has room for 300 people, the theater’s hall was equipped in a screen eight meters high and a multimedia projector. The cinema lovers were watching the movies in the extraordinary atmosphere – it was previously the pool transformed now into theater’s hall (the sitting places for the audience are placed on the special scaffolding). This place was also provided with a high class sound system, and therefore we managed to create an unforgettable, mystical climate. Also three concerts were organized ( the duo DJ Patricia and DJ Mniamek and rock bands: Lord Snooty and Ctrl-Alt-Del played).
The movies: 36 amateur competition movies were showed. We received nearly 100 titles from all over the Poland (the Qualification Commission selected the best). We showed also movies that did not participate in the competiton.
Jury: The members of the Jury were:
1. Jan Jakub Kolski – the direktor (‘Burial of a Potato’, ‘Johnnie Waterman’ Miraculous Place’, ‘History of Cinema in Popielawy’, ‘Pornography’)
2. Maria Zmarz-Koczanowicz – the director(‘Jasnowidz’, ‘The End of the World’)
3. Witold Chomiński – the assembler (‘Pornography’ and many more)
4. Magdalena Podsiadły – the editor of ‘Gazeta Wyborcza’ - cultural section
In the Final of the Festival participated many celebrities connected with television and theater. Jolanta Fajkowska, Katarzyna Dowbor, Piotr Gembarowski, Jan Miodek helped us. Also the Open Meeting of the jury turned out to be a great success - the discussion between the members of the Jury, the authors of the movies and the audience. It was an opportunity to find out more about the Jury's criteria, the audience could hear the opinions about most of the presented movies.
