The Finalists of The School Films Competition of 13th KAN

We know the list of films qualified for The School Films Competition of 13th KAN!

February. The wind has just started to dance wildly with the raindrops, the rhythm tapped on the window glass, once by once. It killed off people’s hope that this “autumn” finally go away. On the streets, hooked silhouettes just flashed, shapes of colorful umbrellas loomed in a far. The lights of Kościuszko’s street townhouses glanced off in the pavement as in the mirror. In this grey landscape there was a palace where there isn’t any prince or princess. But there were they. In one of the chambers, they stare at the screen, eating biscuits and jelly bears on the sly – just to keep the blood sugar and refresh minds. Long evenings, often spent in the silence, as everyone experience what they’d already watched: laugh and tears, happiness, surprising, sadness. Supposedly together, but alone, face to face with the artist. Whole month, until the last one, until the white spot on which the final credits appear and the lights will be switched on. All this to review those, who had waited for.

There were no excuses, dismissals, escaping to the school nurse. What about students? They passed the exam with flying colours. Because the “teachers” had no doubts, and surprisingly, in unison, without any fight and stamping feet, they chose those, who truly deserve to grade to the special class of 13th KAN Festival.

Watching school films was for us a great challenge and a nice surprise. From a large number of good projects, we’ve chosen those, that stayed in our minds for a long time. These are the chosen films:
